Frequently asked questions

What is Azteca?

Azteca is an Android app marketplace. You can browse, download and update Android apps that have been scanned and reviewed before publication.

How do I install the Azteca app?

Download the APK from our Download page, open it, and allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps when Android asks. You can switch that permission off again after installation. See the Download page for a step-by-step guide.

Is it safe to install apps from Azteca?

Every app and every update is scanned for malware and checked against our Content Policy before it is published. Each listing also shows the permissions the app requests and a data-safety summary. If you find something suspicious, please report it from the app page or via our Security page.

How do updates work?

The Azteca app checks for new versions of the apps you installed and notifies you. You can update one app or all of them in a single tap.

Can I get a refund for a paid app?

Yes. Refund requests within the window described in our Refund Policy are handled quickly. Write to us with your order details and we will help.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account inside the app or by email. Our Account & Data Deletion page explains exactly what is deleted and what we must keep.

I am a developer. How can I publish my app?

Visit the Developers page to read the requirements, the review process and the Developer Distribution Agreement, then send us your submission.
