1. Purpose
This policy describes what is and is not allowed on Azteca. It applies to every App, update, listing, ad and review. Developers must follow it in addition to the Developer Distribution Agreement.
2. Malware and security
Not allowed: viruses, trojans, spyware, stalkerware, ransomware, phishing, credential theft, hidden crypto-mining, exploits, rooting or privilege escalation without clear disclosure, and apps that download executable code to bypass review.
3. Deceptive behaviour
Not allowed: misleading titles, icons, screenshots or descriptions; impersonating other apps, brands or people; fake system warnings; undisclosed functionality; manipulating ratings or installs; and subscription traps or hidden charges.
4. Permissions and user data
- Request only the permissions your App needs for features users can see, and explain why.
- Disclose all data collection in your data-safety declaration and privacy policy.
- Obtain consent before collecting personal or sensitive data where the law requires it.
- Transmit personal data securely (encrypted) and never sell it without clear, informed consent.
- Provide a way for users to request deletion of their account and data.
5. Prohibited and restricted content
Not allowed:
- Child sexual abuse material or any content that sexualises minors (see Child Safety Standards).
- Sexually explicit content and pornography.
- Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or content promoting violence or terrorism.
- Content that promotes self-harm, dangerous activities or illegal drugs.
- Sale of weapons, explosives, or regulated goods without the required licences.
- Real-money gambling unless properly licensed and limited to permitted regions.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights.
- Misinformation that may cause real-world harm, including about health or elections.
- Illegal activities of any kind.
6. Ads in apps
- Ads must be clearly distinguishable from app content and must not mimic system notifications or UI.
- No ads that interfere with normal use, cannot be closed, appear outside the App, or change device settings.
- Ad content must follow this policy and be suitable for the App’s audience.
- Apps that show ads must publish an
app-ads.txtfile on the developer website.
7. Minimum quality
Apps must install, open and work as described, must not crash constantly, and must provide meaningful functionality. Spam, duplicate or template apps with little value may be rejected.
8. Apps for children
Apps designed for children must comply with applicable laws such as COPPA and GDPR-K, must not show inappropriate ads, and must not collect personal data from children without verifiable parental consent.
9. Enforcement
Depending on severity, we may reject an update, remove an App, suspend a developer account, withhold payouts tied to fraud, or report illegal content to the authorities. Developers may appeal by writing to nancybergvd@gmail.com.
10. Reporting
Anyone can report an App that breaks this policy using the “Report this app” link on the App page or by emailing nancybergvd@gmail.com.
